Once the hiring and moving quotes are provided, a day is set in order to store the agreed items. Prior to the arrival of them, a contract must be signed, which states the details for both the client and the company. The minimum period of time that can be hired is a month, even though the items only remain there for some days.

If the client wants to, the company offers insurance against fire (together with the Banco de Seguros del Estado) in accordance with the general conditions that regulate its policies.

In order to move the items (some or all of them), the company must be notified at least 24 hours before the actual move. When the items arrive at the storage building our staff label them with a lot number and an inventory is created with the proper details, except for the content of the boxes, drawers or chests. The items are placed in suitable units, private or shared, which are fumigated every 30 days.

[2] Temperature, which is particularly damaging to photographs.

[3] Fungus, bacteria, insects and rodents are among the biological elements that can damage paper.

[4] Humidity directly impacts on paper. Isolation and ventilation need to be considered. Lack of humidity and high temperatures accelerate the natural aging process of paper, causing it to turn yellow and crack.
